Emily's Philosophy of Family

While walking around the block today, Emily shared that she did not like it when Jessica or I did not do what she wanted. I told her that what it means to be a family. She replied "I don't want to be a family."
"But if you're not in a family, who's going to make your breakfast?"
'I will.'
"Who's going to make your lunch?"
'I will.'
"Who's going to drive the car?"
'I don't need a car; I'll walk.'
"Who's going to go to work?"
'I'll stay at home and work'

I'm glad to know she has it all planned out.
